"Because I am, it shall be!"

I'm a mother of three beautiful children. I enjoy writing poetry and quiet moments. My writing comes from the heart.
I will always be a writer of emotion. If I can't feel the pain and joy in my words, then what I write is in vain.

My ultimate goal is to attend college, soon. My past has taught me to reach for the un-reachable, Dream a reality, and live each day to the fullest. For a long period of time, I refused to look at myself for fear of who I really would see. I hated confrontation, even with myself. It's amazing at the transformation that takes place when we look at ourselves for who we really are, inside.

Constantly I strive to be better today than I was yesterday.

Angel Tears

Unchanging in the error of my ways,
Flesh that’s born of only a few days,
My soul was lost I knew it to be true ,
An angel stayed to help me through.

Subconscious dreams of fear remain,
Evils of the world my soul contain,
I walk in blame of all before,
My angel wept, said no more.

In my shame, I heard a calming voice,
That touched my soul, amazed and rejoiced,
My sin against God was plain to see,
I felt an angel cry for me.

A simple act of kindness, to a child in need
Signs of warning, messages to heed,
I’ve been blessed over the years,
God showed mercy in angel tears.

I thought it was a great story and was very well written. The characters were very 3-dimensional and really came to life. I was able to visualize the scenes and characters. There was sufficient details to make a clear mental image. Although the story takes many turns, it was written in a way that makes it simple to follow.

I give this book 5-stars!

Nikki had given up on having an ideal family life. Her mother Trina was stuck living with the mistakes of her past, and one mistake refused to leave, always making sure he got what he wanted out of her. Trina kept secrets from her daughter, such as who her father was. Likewise, Nikki kept secrets from her mother as well, like the fact that she had a bank account and how much money was in it. But what Nikki didn’t know, was that everyone she knew and loved was keeping the same secret from her. Soon this secret, as well as others, were going to come out, bringing forth experiences that neither Trina nor Nikki could see coming.

Another all-nighter from Wanda Stanley! This story has the kind of twists and turns that could make this a great movie one day. This story gets a great big 5!
